Hello,
i do have a very strange behaviour. When migrating Javalibraries from Domino 6 to Domino 8 the designer needs 2 minutes for recompile a simple library (with V6 4 seconds). I'v been searching whole the web for perfomance tips and customized the designer as suggested. A little bit better, but not worth to say.
Today i had to recompile another library and while compiling, i clicked inadvertently on another window (notepad). The Compiler speeded up immediately, Compilation finished up in 2 seconds).
This speedup is not only for compiling Java Libraries, but for everything. A copy from 1000 documents from one database to another takes 5s, when the cursor is outside the noteswindow and 4 minutes, when is inside.
Has anybody got similar experiencies ? I cannot imagine, that IBM deliveres a product, where the progressbar or the cursor totally slows done the application.
The performance is so brillant, when the cursor is out of the window, but i cannot put the cursor out with each action taken.
I can't find anything, where to get rid of this fucking progressindicator (i use the standard window scheme).
This applies only to the Eclipse Client, if the standard client is used, perfect performance.
Maybe someone can help, thanks
best regards
Christian
